Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Department – Internal Audit to lead our audit function. This is a critical leadership role focused on strengthening internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing independent assurance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive, risk-based annual internal audit plan.
Leadership: Lead, supervise, and mentor the Internal Audit team while overseeing all audit assignments.
Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, financial systems, and operational procedures.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies and relevant legal regulations.
Reporting: Review audit findings, prepare high-level reports, and present actionable recommendations to management.
Monitoring: Track the implementation of audit recommendations and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Professional Qualification: Preference for CA, ACCA, ICMA, or CIA holders.
Experience: 7–10 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance, including proven leadership roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and modern audit/accounting systems.
Core Competencies: Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills with a high level of integrity.
